Communication first: We will be there for you on site during the European Championships and especially on the match days in Leipzig. Our colleagues of the communication team have been specially trained as contact persons and mediators and provide information on our activities on site. Feel free to talk to them!

Too stormy: Unfortunately, the weather is not on our side today. The next storm is on its way and the fan zone has to be closed again. According to the latest information, it will remain closed for the rest of the match day.  

Also the Festwiese directly in front of the stadium will be closed. Please follow the instructions of the security and police staff on site.

It can go on: The fan zone on Augustusplatz has reopened. At the public viewing you can watch the second half between Turkey and Georgia and of course the match between Portugal and the Czech Republic. And despite all the fun, don't forget: Please drink alcohol responsibly.

Drones are not permitted: A no-fly zone for drones has been established around the Leipzig Stadium. This ban also applies to carrying, transporting or taking drones with you. This is prohibited within a radius of approx. 3.7 km around the stadium. The flight ban applies between 6 pm and 1 am.

The Portuguese fan walk has already reached the stadium safely. The Czech fans are still on their way. They are expected to arrive at the stadium shortly.

• Haltestellen des Citytunnels 
• Passagen in der Stadt 

Auch das Leipzig Stadium gilt als sicherer Raum.

Safety first: Due to a storm warning for the city of Leipzig, both fan zones will have to be closed temporarily from 5:30 pm.   

In case of emergency, safe places are:  

• central station, main station  
• stations of the city tunnel  
• passages in the city  

Leipzig Stadium is also considered a safe place.

• im Osten über die Kreuzung Humboldtstraße / Jakobstraße, Ausfahrt jedoch nur über Jahnallee

Information for residents: The residents' protection zone (blue marked) has been in place as planned since 4 pm. Access is only permitted with an identification document.   

These are the access routes for the residents' protection zone:  

• in the north via Am Sportforum / Goyastraße  
• to the east via Humboldtstraße / Jakobstraße, but exit only via Jahnallee  
• in the south via Marschnerstraße / Mainzer Straße

• Euer Eintrittsticket gilt von 6:00 Uhr bis 18:00 Uhr des Folgetages auch für den ÖPNV.

Relaxed to the game: Here are some tips for a relaxed journey to the stadium and stadium rules:  

•  Your match ticket is also valid for public transport from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on the following day.

• Bags larger than DIN A4 are not permitted.  
• Please be considerate of other fans: The entire stadium is smoke-free. This also applies to the use of e-cigarettes.  

• Achtet darauf genug zu Trinken, aber nicht zu viel Alkohol. 
• Das Zünden von Pyrotechnik ist nicht nur eine Straftat, sondern kann auch erhebliche Verletzungen verursachen. 
• Gebt acht auf eure persönlichen Wertsachen und tragt sie eng bei euch. Insbesondere in großen Menschenmengen haben Diebe leichtes Spiel. Verzichtet also auf unnötiges Gepäck. Das ist nicht nur sicherer, sondern verkürzt auch die Wartezeiten am Einlass.

Welcome to Leipzig. We are looking forward to a great football festival today. To make it successful, we have collected some small tips: 

• Make sure you drink enough, but not too much alcohol. 
• The use of pyrotechnics is not only a crime, it can also cause serious injuries. 
• Be careful with your personal valuables and keep them close to you. Especially in large crowds attract thieves. So don't take unnecessary luggage with you. This is not only safer, but also shortens the waiting times at the entrance.
